Depuis plusieurs mois, tout le monde se demande ce que signifie la puissance de l'économie de l'irréel, crystallisée dans Second Life, premier à avoir abandonné les droits sur les créations des utilisateurs au sein même de son univers. La force de ces nouvelles monnaies, le potentiel du marché du micro-achat, la croissance des univers virtuels gratuits dont le modèle économique est celui de la vente d'objets "inexistants" (virtuels), la valeur exponentielle de ces mondes UGC (user generated content)... Le monde entier en est à essayer de comprendre le phénomène, Wikipédia saisit la balle au bon. Ce truc est tout simplement génial !!!
Outre l'ajout d'un simple élément ludique et pratique à ce merveilleux logiciel, quoi de plus logique qu'on rémunère un service virtuel non qualifié avec de l'argent virtuel non balisé...? Qui sait ce que ça peut devenir ? A quand une monnaie virtuelle commune aux plus grands services d'Internet ? (du genre Smiles pour la grande distribution mais à une échelle bien plus grande) Que signifie être riche dans ce contexte ?
